This 100cm by 170cm PVC water spray mat offers a straightforward solution for adding active water play to your garden, patio, or poolside area. Designed for use during warm weather, it helps address the need for outdoor physical activity on hot summer days when children might otherwise remain indoors. Its marine animal theme serves an educational purpose, allowing children to engage with sea life imagery during play, while the PVC construction provides a durable surface specifically intended for wet environments.

Features and Construction

This product is built around practical features for outdoor water play. The construction focuses on providing a defined play area with a reliable water supply system, using materials suited to wet conditions.

Material and Build

The mat is constructed from PVC, a plastic material commonly used for products involving water. This makes the surface waterproof and suitable for repeated wetting during play sessions. The material choice supports the product's primary function as a water play accessory that can be used in gardens, near pools, or on other outdoor surfaces. The mat is supplied in an OPP bag, which provides basic packaging for storage and transport.

Size and Practical Fit

With dimensions of 100cm by 170cm, the mat establishes a clear play area that can accommodate one or more children. This size allows it to be laid out in most garden spaces, patios, or decking areas without requiring excessive room. The mat's portability means it can be easily positioned where needed for outdoor events or daily play, then stored away afterwards. Its flat design simplifies setup—simply unroll it on a suitable surface, connect the hose, and it's ready for use.

Uses and Placement

The mat is designed for outdoor water-based activities, with several suggested applications. It serves as a focal point for play in various settings, from casual home use to more organised social occasions.

Event or Professional Use

For events such as pool parties, family gatherings, or outdoor games, the mat provides a controlled water play area that can keep children entertained. Its hose connection system means it can be set up quickly without complex installation, making it suitable for temporary events. The marine animal theme adds a decorative element that aligns with aquatic or summer party themes, while also offering an educational aspect as children interact with the printed sea life.

Everyday Home Use

In a home garden setting, the mat offers a way to encourage outdoor physical activity during warm weather. Parents concerned about limited exercise options on hot days can use it to create an engaging splash zone. It requires no permanent installation, so it can be used when needed and stored away afterwards, making it a flexible addition to family outdoor equipment. The product is marketed as suitable for both boys and girls, aiming for broad appeal across different age groups within early childhood.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this product lies in its practical application for outdoor play and its simple, reusable nature. It addresses specific seasonal needs while requiring minimal ongoing maintenance.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

As a reusable PVC mat, it can be used multiple times across the summer season or over several years with proper care. Maintenance involves basic steps: after play, allow the mat to dry before storing to prevent mould or mildew, and keep it in its supplied OPP bag or another dry location when not in use. This low upkeep makes it a convenient option compared to more complex water play equipment that might require assembly or more involved cleaning.

Why Choose This Product

This water spray mat provides a dedicated outdoor play solution that combines active fun with simple operation. Its key advantage is the direct hose connection, which eliminates the need for filling pools or containers manually. The marine animal print adds an element of visual interest and potential learning, while the PVC material ensures compatibility with water play. For families seeking a straightforward way to add water activities to their garden without significant setup or investment, this mat offers a focused option that delivers on its core promise of splash-based fun.
