Window Glass Cat Hammock Hanging on Windowsill in Multi-Layer Plywood and Cotton Canvas

This cat hammock is designed to mount securely on a glass windowsill, giving your cat a cosy elevated spot to rest while saving floor space. The combination of multi-layer plywood, pure cotton canvas, and 304 stainless steel hardware provides a stable and durable construction. Available in a range of colours, it fits neatly into most window frames and supports cats up to a considerable weight. Ideal for cat owners who want a simple, effective perch without permanent fixtures.

Features and Construction

The hammock combines three main materials to deliver a reliable perching solution. Each component serves a distinct purpose in the overall build quality.

Material and Build

Multi-layer plywood forms the base platform, offering rigidity without adding excessive weight. The frame is wrapped in pure cotton canvas that provides a soft surface your cat can lie on. All fixing hardware is made from 304 stainless steel, chosen for its corrosion resistance and strength when tightened against a window frame.

Size and Practical Fit

The hammock measures 185 mm by 158 mm by 195 mm, a compact footprint suitable for most standard windowsills. It does not extend far into the room, leaving the sill area free for other uses. Before installation, check that your windowsill has enough depth and a smooth, clean surface for the mounting brackets to grip securely.

Uses and Placement

This hammock is intended for indoor mounting on a glass or smooth windowsill. It can be repositioned easily if you want to move it to another window.

Event or Professional Use

Cat boarding facilities or multi-cat households can use several hammocks across different windows to give each animal its own spot. The stainless steel hardware withstands repeated mounting and removal without degrading, making it practical for temporary setups.

Everyday Home Use

For a single-cat home, the hammock offers a quiet retreat near a window where your cat can watch outdoor activity. Choose from colours such as grey blue, apricot, orange, purple, or yellow to match your interior decor. The soft cotton canvas is comfortable for naps, while the open design provides good airflow.

Benefits and Buying Value

This product provides a dedicated cat perch without needing shelves or wall anchors. Its simple design and durable materials make it a practical addition to any cat-friendly home.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

You can detach the hammock and move it to a different window as needed. The cotton canvas can be spot-cleaned with mild soap and water, and the plywood frame requires only a quick wipe to remove dust. The 304 stainless steel fittings will not rust if kept dry between uses.

Why Choose This Product

Unlike soft fabric hammocks that sag or require assembly, this one uses a rigid plywood base for consistent support. The range of colour options lets you coordinate with your room, and the all-metal hardware ensures a secure fit. It is a straightforward solution for giving your cat a window view without permanent installation.
