0.67X Fisheye and Macro Mobile Phone Lens Kit with Universal Clip for Smartphone Photography

This two-lens photography kit provides smartphone users with creative optical tools beyond their phone's built-in camera capabilities. The 0.67X 180-degree fisheye lens delivers dramatic curved perspectives ideal for architectural shots, expansive landscapes, or artistic portraits with exaggerated foreground elements. The separate macro lens enables detailed close-up photography of small subjects like insects, jewellery details, textures, or botanical specimens. Both lenses utilise optical glass elements housed in lightweight aluminium frames that screw into the supplied universal mounting clip, creating a versatile system that works with most modern smartphones without requiring permanent modification or specialised cases.

Features and Construction

The lens kit combines specialised optics with practical mounting hardware designed for temporary attachment to smartphones. The universal clip accommodates varying phone thicknesses and camera placements through its spring-loaded jaw design and adjustable positioning.

Material and Build

Both the fisheye and macro lenses feature optical glass elements mounted within precision aluminium alloy frames. The aluminium construction provides a lightweight yet rigid housing that protects the glass elements while maintaining consistent optical alignment. The universal mounting clip incorporates spring steel jaws with rubberised contact pads that grip phone edges securely without excessive pressure that might damage thinner devices. These rubber pads create a non-slip interface while protecting phone finishes from metal-on-plastic contact that could cause scratches or scuff marks over repeated use.

Size and Practical Fit

The universal mounting clip accommodates smartphones with widths up to approximately 85mm, covering most iPhone models from older versions through recent releases, plus Samsung Galaxy phones, Huawei devices, and other Android smartphones. The clip's open design allows users to position the lens mount directly over the phone's primary rear camera lens regardless of its placement on the device body. This universal approach means the kit works across multiple phone models without requiring specific brand adapters or proprietary mounting systems, making it suitable for households with different smartphone types or for photographers who upgrade their devices periodically.

Uses and Placement

The two-lens system serves distinct photographic purposes that expand creative possibilities beyond standard smartphone photography. The fisheye lens creates immersive wide-angle views with characteristic curved distortion, while the macro lens reveals microscopic details often missed by standard phone cameras.

Event or Professional Use

For event photography, the 0.67X fisheye lens can capture entire room scenes in a single frame during weddings, conferences, or venue documentation where standard lenses might require panoramic stitching. The exaggerated perspective adds dynamic energy to crowd shots or interior spaces. The macro lens proves valuable for product photographers needing detailed shots of small items like jewellery, electronic components, or collectibles where surface textures and fine details contribute to accurate representation. Both lenses attach and detach quickly via the universal clip, allowing photographers to switch between standard, fisheye, and macro photography during shoots without interrupting workflow.

Everyday Home Use

For casual photography, the fisheye lens creates playful perspectives of pets, children, or home interiors with a distinctive visual style that stands out on social media. The macro lens enables hobbyists to explore close-up photography of garden insects, flower details, fabric textures, or household items without investing in dedicated macro camera equipment. The universal clip system means the lenses can be shared among family members with different phone models, making it a versatile addition to household photography tools. The compact nature of the aluminium lens frames allows for convenient storage in desk drawers or camera bags when not in use.

Benefits and Buying Value

This lens kit provides specialised photographic capabilities without requiring separate camera bodies or complex lens systems. The universal mounting approach ensures compatibility across smartphone brands and models, offering flexibility as phone technology evolves.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The aluminium lens frames and optical glass elements require minimal maintenance beyond occasional cleaning with a microfiber cloth to remove dust or fingerprints. Without electronic components or moving parts beyond the threaded mount, the lenses maintain functionality regardless of smartphone operating system updates or camera app changes. The universal clip design ensures continued use even when upgrading to newer phone models, provided they fall within the 85mm width specification. This reusability across multiple devices and years of smartphone evolution represents practical value compared to brand-specific lens attachments that might become obsolete with phone model changes.

Why Choose This Product

This two-lens kit offers distinct photographic functions—wide-angle fisheye perspective and macro detail—in a single package with universal mounting hardware. The 0.67X fisheye lens provides more dramatic curvature than standard wide-angle attachments, creating immediately recognisable fisheye effects rather than merely expanded field of view. The separate macro lens allows proper close-focus photography rather than digital cropping that reduces image quality. The universal clip system eliminates compatibility concerns across iPhone and Android platforms, making it suitable for multi-device households or photographers who change phone brands. The aluminium construction offers durability advantages over all-plastic lens housings that might flex or crack under pressure.
