Wired Mechanical Keyboard and Mouse Set with Green Switches and Multimedia Keys

This wired mechanical keyboard and mouse set provides a responsive and reliable input solution for laptops and desktop computers. The core of the set is the mechanical keyboard, which uses green switches for a distinct tactile bump and audible click with each keypress, a characteristic preferred by many typists and gamers. The inclusion of multimedia function keys adds a practical layer of control, allowing you to adjust volume or manage media playback without leaving your primary application. Paired with a matching wired mouse, this set offers a complete, low-latency workstation upgrade. Sold as new and backed by a 12-month nationwide warranty, it is a straightforward choice for users seeking a mechanical typing experience with specific colour and feature preferences.

Features and Construction

The set's design focuses on delivering specific mechanical switch characteristics and functional controls within a defined physical size. The aesthetic is defined by a combination of coloured plastics and LED lighting.

Material and Build

The keyboard's construction utilises plastic for the main casing and the round keycaps. The green mechanical switches inside contain metal contacts for electrical actuation. The silver-coloured base provides the foundation, while the pink keycaps offer a contrasting visual accent. A white LED backlight illuminates the key legends, enhancing visibility in low-light conditions. The mouse is also constructed from plastic to match the set's wired connectivity and aesthetic theme.

Size and Practical Fit

The keyboard has a specific footprint, measuring approximately 450 mm in width, 140 mm in depth, and 30 mm in height. These dimensions determine the amount of desk space required and suggest a compact to mid-size form factor that can fit in various workspace configurations, from a dedicated gaming desk to a shared office table used with a laptop.

Uses and Placement

The wired USB connection and feature set make this keyboard and mouse combination suitable for several computing scenarios where consistent performance is valued over wireless convenience.

Event or Professional Use

For environments like LAN gaming events, office workstations, or educational computer labs, the wired connection eliminates concerns about battery life or wireless interference. The tactile feedback from the green switches can provide clear confirmation of input during extended typing sessions or precise gaming manoeuvres. The national warranty offers a level of assurance for institutional or frequent professional use.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the set serves as a dedicated peripheral for a desktop PC or as a connected upgrade for a laptop docked at a desk. The multimedia keys add convenience for controlling music or video while working or browsing. The distinct silver and pink colour scheme with white lighting allows it to function as a personalised stylistic element in a home office or gaming setup.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this set lies in the combination of specific mechanical switch technology, functional extras, and a complete wired peripheral package.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

As a wired set, it requires no batteries, reducing ongoing costs and waste. The durable construction of mechanical switches is often associated with a longer functional life compared to some membrane keyboards under heavy use. Simple wiping of the plastic surfaces with a dry cloth is the primary care needed to maintain its appearance.

Why Choose This Product

This product is chosen for its definitive mechanical green switch experience, a feature not found in standard keyboards. The inclusion of a matching mouse and multimedia keys adds practical utility, while the specific colour combination (silver base, pink keycaps, white light) caters to users with particular aesthetic preferences. The 12-month warranty provides post-purchase security, making it a considered choice for those seeking a feature-specific, wired mechanical set.
