CONTEC SP750 Volumetric Infusion Pump IV Fluid Standard With Alarm Rechargeable Lithium Battery High Accuracy Flow Control Anti Bolus System TFT LCD Display
CONTEC SP750 Volumetric Infusion Pump – High Accuracy with Full Alarm Suite

The CONTEC SP750 is a volumetric infusion pump designed for standard IV fluid delivery in clinical environments. Its high flow accuracy of ±5% (with calibrated IV sets) supports optimum therapeutic effect, while a comprehensive set of alarms covers occlusion, air bubbles, door open, motor failure, and more. The built-in rechargeable lithium polymer battery (7.4V, 5000mAh) enables continuous operation even during power interruptions, and parameters are retained after shutdown. This pump is compatible with most standard IV sets, allowing flexibility in procurement.
Features and Construction

The SP750 combines precise mechanical control with electronic safety systems to minimise risks during infusion therapy. Its interface and alarms are designed for straightforward use by trained medical staff.
Flow Control and Accuracy
The pump delivers infusion rates from 1 to 699 mL/h in 1 mL/h increments, with total volume settings up to 9999 mL. Accuracy is ±5% when using a calibrated IV set, and the pump can store calibration data for different set types. Residual infusion time is displayed in real time, aiding schedule management.
Alarm and Safety Systems
Alarms include near end, KVO state, low battery, no power, pressure failure, door failure, air bubble, door open, occlusion, infusion reminder, and motor failure. The pump stops infusion automatically during most alarms (except near end, KVO, and low battery). The pressure sensor has three adjustable sensitivity grades for professional tuning.
Display and Interface
A 2.8-inch TFT-LCD shows flow rate, total volume, accumulated infusion volume, and residual time. Operation is by physical keys, with password protection on system parameters and IV set type settings.
Safety Mechanisms

The SP750 incorporates several hardware and software safety measures beyond basic alarms, designed to prevent free flow, air embolism, and bolus dosing.
Anti-Bolus System (ABS)
When a high-voltage occlusion alarm triggers, the pump stops infusion immediately and automatically relieves pressure in the IV set, preventing a sudden high-dose injection when the obstruction clears.
Accompanying IV-Set Clamp
A physical clamp on the IV set prevents liquid from flowing freely should the pump door open accidentally, maintaining line integrity without user intervention.
Air Bubble Detection
An ultrasonic air bubble detector with high accuracy prevents air from entering the patient’s body, adding an extra layer of safety during infusion.
Power and Portability

The pump supports multiple power sources for flexible deployment across ward, transport, or backup scenarios.
AC/DC and Battery Operation
Main power inlet accepts AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz. The internal rechargeable lithium polymer battery (7.4V, 5000mAh) allows continued operation when mains power is unavailable. The pump alerts when battery is low and before power is lost.
Physical Dimensions
Measuring 143.6 mm (L) x 151.8 mm (W) x 195.3 mm (H) and weighing about 1.9 kg, the SP750 is compact enough for bedside stands or transport within a facility. Its IPX2 water protection rating handles minor liquid splashes.
